Teaching

MECH0103: Ship Structures

Module Coordinator, University College London (06/2024–Present)

This module covers the design and structural strength assessment of advanced marine vehicles, with a focus on modern design principles and computational methods in ship engineering. As module coordinator, I manage a teaching team comprising one Tutor and one PGTA. My work includes delivering MSc lectures, coordinating tutorials and assessments, and overseeing all associated teaching activities.

MECH0105: Seakeeping and Manoeuvring

Module Tutor, University College London (06/2024–Present)

Responsible for tutorials analysing hydrodynamic responses and motions of ships and offshore structures in waves using MAXSURF and PARAMARAN (≈25% of the module).

ENGF0004: Mathematical Modelling and Analysis II

PGTA, University College London (09/2021–06/2023)

Delivered tutorials for second-year students (≈25% of the module), demonstrated assignment solutions, taught MATLAB, and supported coursework marking.

MECH0004: Mechanical Engineering Practical Skills

PGTA, University College London (01/2020–06/2022)

Taught compressor operation and measurement of system energy efficiency (≈20% of the module). Established a virtual lab and recorded an instructional video during COVID-19; supported students with coursework guidance.

MECH0024: Advanced Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics

PGTA, University College London (09/2019–03/2020)

Assisted the module leader in designing lecture slides and preparing supporting teaching materials.

(Co-)Supervision

MECH0020: Undergraduate Individual Projects · MECH0070: MSc Individual Projects

(Co-)Supervisor, University College London (01/2020–Present)

Supervised undergraduate and MSc research projects, providing technical guidance in CFD (ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM) and academic writing support.
